Has anyone had Lasik Eye Surgery?

I’ve had glasses for about 10 years now, and i’m quite comfortable with them. I’d love to move on to contacts, but my mom and dad (my dad is an opthalmologist, an eye doctor) said i should just have Lasik done.

Does anyone have any experience with Lasik? Has anyone gotten the surgery done? I’m wondering what it’s like, do you like it better than contacts? And did it hurt when they cut your eye open?

I had the Lasik surgery –>8 years ago and do not regret it. Your eye is completely frozen with drops and there is absolutely no pain. I had to wear clear patches at night for 2 weeks, and antibiotic eye drops for 1 week. Some people experience slight burning, irritation

LASIK has been performed millions of times and LASIK testimonies are normally great.

Many LASIK patients let us know how great their vision is, and how quick and easy it was.

The main question is why did I wait so long to have such great vision. LASIK is so easy!
